Moulding an individual to balance the dualities in all modes of life is of high priority while training the students through Literature.

The Department of Samskrita, adheres to the real sense of imparting the two-fold education through Literature that caters to the demands of both - their occupation as well as spiritual aspect of personal growth.

It is made sure that the students who have learnt Samskrita earlier and those who are new to learning Samskrita are both trained suiting their needs, so that they complete their course efficiently, being competent.

In the II PUC Annual exam, a result of 97% and above has been consistently maintained, with some centums and about 60% students scoring distinction marks every year in the subject.

The Department aims at inducing interest and likeness in students regarding Samskrita language and its literature. Pertaining to this, literary and cultural activities are conducted.

In association with Shree Ramayana Prasarana Kendra, the Department conducts written exam on 'Personality development, based on Valmiki Ramayanam'.

Efforts are made to make students appreciate the ancient wisdom of this land.
